When i was studying Philippine and International Laws of Customs procedures and economic treaties, by-laws and organizational laws, i learned that ASIA has the big advantage over global economy where European countries or European Union and United States joined ASIA's international treaties and alliances. It has been said to help developing countries in ASIA. Logically, when i think about it, Japan and China has been battling economic trend with US and EU and i believe they are scared of ASEAN (Association of South-East Asian Nation), and other Asian countries to dominate the economy considering that East Asian countries are now dominating the economy all over the world because of its huge participation in global market. China for one has largest number of investors, Japan has stable economy, Russia though communist, it is one of the newest member in APEC (Asia Pacific Economic Conference)

Tariffs among Asian countries and Philippines are now set to ZERO. That is also the mean reason why commodities imported in Philippines are cheap and affordable. Tariffs are taxes imposed on every commodity being imported in a certain country. Since our Tariff System has been amended, tariffs are set to zero, but there some agricultural products which will affect our domestic producers, so it hasn't fully set to 0% rate yet.
If you may notice, computer peripherals being sold in the market are relatively low compared few years ago.

BIMP-EAGA or (Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines) made this possible. The transportation between those countries are now said to be liberated, and allowing more transportation options to meet the goal of business trends and marketing.
ASEAN-CHINA also are now into commitment among Asian nations to further boost and help least developing countries in asian region. So if people are wondering why there are lots of goods made from China are being scattered over the Philippines and its neighboring country, US and Europe is because of this commitment of Free-Trade-Agreement or FTA. A ZERO Tariff Rate in all of the commodities coming from different countries covered with treaties and international organizations.
Yan din ang dahilan kung bakit nag kalat ung mga China phones at yung mga puro made in China na mga gamit. Sa Pilipinas nila binabagsak ung mga produkto galing sa mga chinese investors and among others na makaka tulong para palawakin yung economy ng mga least developed and developing countries. Sadly, yung Vietnam, naunahan pa yung Pilipinas samantalang Pilipinas pa yung tumulong sa Vietnam in terms of conditions over the organizational rules and regulations and by laws.
To top that, Asia is now contributing 70% of global economic trend, boosting global market shares.
