Sorry for the much long hiatus and a no update since hundred years. A lot of social media applications have captured me and i was enjoying everything of it. Without any further intros, I would like to start with a tutorial about Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 GT N8000 battery. The very first Samsung Galaxy Note tablet that came out in the market back in 2012. I purchased mine in October 2012 and pardon me for the photos to be posted here. 

There had been a lot of fallback came in after the updated version of its OS including battery issues and performance of Note smartphones and tablets. But it didn't made strong inhibitions from people wanting and owning Note series on the dot. To give a healthy round ups, here are on top of my list to give you helpful tips. Before anything else, "DO NOT install CANDY CRUSH", If you do please uninstall it now and reformat or reset your gadget". Candy Crush is an awake application, meaning even if you already closed or exit the application.

 

BATTERY LIFE

First i would like to boast (yes! haha) that my tablet's battery life can last for 2 days in standby mode, while it last for 1 day for the following usage:

(1) tether wifi hotspot with multiple connections while watching movie/s, (2) tether wifi hotspot while on extensive browsing via different applications simultaneously, (3) data/wifi plus reading mode. And last but not the least, 10hours for watching movies, and games extensively -- stress test if you may call it.  NO, my tablet doesn't heat up :)

There is no right or wrong in how or when do you electrify your gadget but with proper ethic, you're done. I drain my battery before plugging in because in my understanding and logic, that is the right time to do so. I don't know how you practice maintenance but it really works for me.

I installed the Comodo battery saver and Juice Defender for tablet from Google Play. I believe these two applications are not available in Apple iOS and Blackberry OS. If you have Juice defender installed but still having issues with your battery, click here for tutorial.These application may be available to other Samsung units too.

In order to fully materialized the usage, please organize your homepage and application page by setting a folder. Being organized, neat and clean helps too and it look professional in a certain way.

The less the widgets, the less your battery consumption. Plus, lived by the rule; if you don't need it, then don't show it off. I choose Plume over Hootsuite because it works best after i got used to Tweetdeck. I still have it though.

An Icon will show in the notification panel if your Juice defender is working.

 

BRIGHTNESS & RAM MEMORY

To further reduce battery consumption, turn off motion, riffle effect (settings> lock screen>check riffle effect) and smart stay unless you're in reading mode of your favorite e-book or site. Your brightness matter too. in order to achieve reducing brightness, see below image and check your tablet. This works too in other Samsung gadget.

Lower your screen brightness in Setting> Display > Brightness to lessen the brightness aside from Brightness indicator in Notification Panel. Make it a habit too to do "remove all" and "clear your RAM/memory" in the task manager religiously to close all application. This serves as if you're clearing cache in internet browser. 

THE FLASH PLAYER

Samsung Note 10.1 users no longer enjoy watching movie and it has been the issue after adobe player updated their mobile application to Flash Player 11 and no longer support tablet apps. Honestly, i still enjoy the privilege, but i took risk of installing the third party flash player apk. The flash player only works in "mozilla firefox android" browser. THE UPDATE

Well, i used to hate Samsung Kies because I couldn't end my battle with my Samsung S I and Samsung Note 1 before just to tap an update. I thought the data cable was the problem but apparently not. Samsung Kies has now their updated "working" version of the software. I strongly recommended to install the "mobile device support" something like that (sorry i forgot it) in order to detect your smartphone or tablet. Trust me, your data cable is not the problem if you will be experiencing trouble connecting your device.

 

UNIVERSAL GOOGLE ACCOUNT

Maybe a lot of you, like me, who used to ignore "Sync" because of privacy want to preserve. Please do not underestimate the power of having of one Google account without using Sync. You barely have to understand why Samsung and Google are compatible and powerful in giving convenience and smoothness to everything. Pictures, applications, games, Office, Syncing contacts and a lot more. Although my Ipod works well in my ears through Itunes.

When my Samsung Galaxy Note 32GB Micro SD got corrupted, my Gallery was exploding in blank black photos, to make it worst, everything was being duplicated. I didn't know what was the problem then. I was forced to reformat my phone's SD card. To my jinx, my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 32GB SD card was infected too and i had to do sacrifice everything. All my files, photos, downloaded documents, application datas and music were deleted. It was a cry sake.

Since then, i started using Sync panel. Dropbox, Picasa, and Google+  are my favorite applications. It help me to maximize doing my task, notes, blogging, sharing photos simultaneously in all of my gadgets in split seconds. Plus i can use Desktop, Laptop, Tablet and open documents and the like in my smartphone and vice versa.

You can also install and uninstall your applications via Google Play Store using web browsers in desktop/laptop, and it will be automatically installed in your chosen device once you are connected to internet.

 

TETHERED Wi-Fi HOTSPOT

If you are an Android OS lover, you probably been wondering what is tethering for and what does it do? If you're a data plan subscriber and you're on the road but your company has no access to Wi-Fi, you can share your Internet among your peers by Tethering and make it a portable Wi-Fi router. Yes, you can still enjoy and use your Tablet/Phone while their connected to you.

I know there are a lot of great reviews and whatnot of Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, but I just want to share my bits and pieces of what is seems to be helpful to other Samsung Note lovers out there who are just beginners. I hope this will inspire you more loving and enjoying your tablet because I can no longer live without it. And it is not a "luxury item", it is necessity. Right?

Samsung Galaxy Note series, Tab series, S series, and other Samsung units can use these tips and application but may vary to availability in region in Play Store and capacity of the smartphone or tablet. Please be advise that using Wi-Fi Tether hotspot may "charge" you and you cannot use Wi-Fi at the same time. And if you do not have a monthly unlimited 3G data plan subscription, be aware of the charges may cost.

3) Can your audience submit public comments or reviews?

Sure, your own description of your product may be accurate and what you sell or write may actually be life-changing. But readers want to hear that from other readers. Comments and reviews make your site look honest, transparent, and not afraid of public opinion. Of course, as with any other social media platform, monitoring is necessary to ensure that comments and reviews are appropriate, non-offensive and properly responded to if necessary.


4) Is your content dynamic?

Static websites are the equivalent of stores that never change their collections (I don’t know of any in real life, other than antique stores). Keeping your content new and fresh will encourage your readers to visit on a regular basis – to read new articles, check out new products or admire new images. Readers will most often share content from websites they are familiar with as a credible source of information – they don’t want to look foolish. Moreover, new content means new things to share… and more visitors entails more members for your new thriving community!

5) Does your homepage offer a relevant social experience?

When a reader is perusing your content… is he/she hanging out alone or with others? In other words, are there indications that other people are there too at that particular time or that their friends have been there before? Facebook Connect offers an easy solution to bringing people’s networks into your site without altering content and letting your readers find out what articles or products their friends have personally endorsed. Making buzz public (such as number of current visitors or total pageviews) and adding chat plug-ins are also easy, effective upgrades.

Make sure to create a mobile version of your website or ensure that your existing website functions properly on multiple mobile devices. Additionally, consider creating a relevant branded application and maintaining up-to-date onFacebook’s Open Graph mobile features.

I honestly and love downloading icons at Weloveicons.

A one-stop-shop for all graphicionado. They gathered and uploaded one of the best designed icons and logos for free. Your downloaded icons may be converted into your desired format if it is not supported by your OS or other programs. Links provided made available from the original artist and thats really a humbling task. Artist to be acknowledged for their work is such a rewarding feeling, especially in the cyber world where everyone claims the other. 

What captured me is the ARCHIGRAPHS. Their works are truly exceptional. The image is surreal, and elegant. You could actually taste devotion, blood and effort in every detailed cinematographic artwork. I've used some of their works in projects and to a few, here. What is good about Archigraphs.com is they made sure they can be downloaded in MAC or in WINdows and in PNG, Just like Weloveicons.

Few months ago i promised that i will be doing a conducive web browsers review and give details to what is at its best. I've been looking for graphics that will help me deliver this review and find accurate information  to start with.

This research CHART was conducted by Jacob Gube of Six Revisions in 2009. Today, it may not be 1OO% accurate but will serves as gathered data presentation. I think, until today, this is relevant.

CREDIT FOR ICONS: FINDICONS

Google chrome. Even though i am using this browser, i hate to say this but CHROME EXTENSIONS or simply add-ons, whatever you may call it are full of viruses. Yes! how could this be? better yet use Free Online Virus and Malware Scan via VIRUSTOTAL and see for yourself.
Other than that, the performance is perfect only for desktop/laptop. I can't even maximize using this application in mobile and tablet devices.


I highly suggest Opera for people who have down time in internet connection like Dial-ups or Wireless broadband connections with low speed. The Automatic and Turbo add-on is one the plus of this browser. It easily detects if you have a slow connection compare to your normal internet speed.

Here is another great deal, Opera browser has gone better. You can upload and share your photos without going to different sites, the add-ons and widgets are virus free with more professional applications and easy to use. 

Safari web browser. Nothing beats Mac in terms of Applications and master of the touch illusions. What i just like about Safari is the Bookmark, Topsites and For reads tabs. If you're into touchscreens, the feel touch of grid view is fantastic. Aside from its animation, i believe this browser is advantageous to read and surf people. Hence an e-book experience, logically.

 I don't honestly love Mozilla Firefox aside from Opera and Chrome. I hate the fact that 60% of internet users using this browser. I don't know what is wrong with that, but i just can't simply enjoy it. Maybe because i had bad experience using Firefox. It was extremely faster than i thought, i had sites open and 5 tab pages, those tabs open were only were searched from rare to find articles. Although "history" is an option, but the "crashing" is intolerable. I have to close the browser and forced to restore. It continued for several months and until now, i am having problems with firefox from time to time.

What would you do and what would you think if you received such message like this? 


I've been receiving this kind of message over and over again via Spam emails/messages and it is killing me in annoyance. Why? because these people never stop until they get your response. These people are so low in terms of "SCAM". I don't know where did they get this kinda of cheap propaganda but to the makers of this email, this is really such a crap. If i were you guys, think of something that is believable and kinda, REAL? :P haha.


And in case you guys received any kind of scams, and beware of  your personal "bank accounts", don't ever believe websites linking to an IP Address. 

example:

You have a legitimate bank account in "CHIIE BANK" and you happened to also activate your Mobile and Internet Banking transactions. Of course you are using your OWN PC or Laptop and no one gets your personal informations. But let me inform you that beware of Wi-Fi Connections because some hackers are known to this and might HACK, yes simply HACK your informations, including your bad "spooky" habits around the net. 

So, anyway, since you are secured with the notation of your personal belongings, you received an email stating you received freebies given by your bank and you are requiring to sign or log in with a given link of : http://200.199.199.0.chiiebank.com, deceived you are, with of course with the SAME images of Website in your bank. Exactly the same. Please, DO NOT CLICK the link.


If you happened to received that kind of notice, better VERIFY it in your bank, call a CSR or check the legitimate website address of your bank and see notices or announcement saying they are giving freebies or anything regarding the matter of your concern, then Confirm.

A simple advice for each of us, including myself, SPAM emails are just spam emails and SHOULD NOT be given a reply unless you are aware of the recipient, otherwise, ignore further notices and messages, specially if it includes personal matters or business deals.

Some people new in the cyber world is not familiar with and may claim due notices. They might think how did it get into their emails without registering anything within claims. Well, think no more. sure not everyone of us known to all search engines available in the internet. To top it all, students having difficult times searching for topics related to their subjects and term papers. During my college days, since my course is not as popular like nursing and business management degree, add to the dilemma the never ending updates of Philippine Tariff and Customs Laws, are rare articles to find in the internet. 


Anyway, so i gathered all my powers and share search engines i know. This is not just for students but also to business sectors who makes most of their profit relating to keywords and search to have most visitors, not just that but also gathering data for presentations and the like.

Formerly known as Live Search, Windows Live Search and MSN search. Bing has made other informations available that Google can't satisfy you. Or if you can't find anything similar to your project, give yourself a break and try Bing as your secondary to Google, better yet, make it first. I find Bing more interesting in giving results and trust me with this, bing has more accuracy in terms of MAPS compare to Google. 

pronounced COOL; claiming to be the World's largest search engine, that is 3 times and 10 times Google and Microsoft indexing pages, respectively. 

i love how Cuil developed their site. The website itself is easy to navigate and changed the way Search Engine deliver results. Professional looking, with lots of informations aside from results and an almost Advertisement free -- thats what i like about!

Cuil also offers CPEDIA where you can browse tons of suggested results.

Yes you read it right. Lycos now turned into search engine. From an entertainment internet portal to array of indexed sites. 


They still offer free website though. 






I no longer included Google and Yahoo because they are already known to everyone. Hence the redundant results from Google and Yahoo is immaterial to finding more results.

The moment i saw Samsung N150 (America, Canada and other Asian countries), and Samsung N210 in some parts of the Philippines, but stated in Samsung Philippines its Samsung N150. 


To explain how and why is there a difference between names it’s because the markings for certain regions. So if you bought your gadget in America and you’re living in Asia, you might have a hard time looking for some accessories. But i will not discuss it here.

Today, I am going to review my Samsung N150/N210 with my utmost simple language. I fell inlove with it right away. First is the color, it is White. Second, it’s a notebook. Third is the processor. Fourth is the 5-8hours battery life.

Samsung N150 is a SCRATCH and MAINTENANCE FREE. Promise. The notebook itself is a matte type  laptop so i wouldn't have to worry from scratches and high maintenance like edge protectors. It is easy to clean if you accidentally stained the surface. I hate glossy laptops because it easily slide from any smooth cloth protectors or casing and people will sometimes misunderstood you for that. Plus the light effect, it is too reflective. I am wearing glasses and i need to protect my eyes from too much exposure to light rays.

Windows 7 and its hard drives. Since i grew up using Desktop PCs, the loading of windows is kind of slow for me. The software installed perhaps didn't amaze me after all. Microsoft Office is just a trial. The thought your windows is powered by Microsoft, it should be automatically installed, not on a trial basis. For now, I am using it but soon, I will install Microsoft Office 2010 beta (not pirated excuse me haha).

For the loading problems, I uninstalled McAfee Anti-Virus and replaced it with Comodo Anti-Virus which detected the virus installed in Games. I also installed Ccleaner to further delete cookies and unwanted or temporary internet files roaming around folders. Microsoft Essentials was a problem to me, it wasn't updating at all. I tried downloading it through FileHippo, yet i had second thoughts. It might have problems in the future so i didn’t pushed through. But, i suggest work with Microsoft Essentials if you do not have it yet. Btw, it is only working for genuine Microsoft Windows, meaning original and paid. It cost around P3,000 - P5,000 in Philippines. 

I encountered problem in Media Player, it didn’t work after playing some songs. I thought of having reformatted my gadget, instead I updated my RealTek HD sound card. Check it in device manager, and it’s done.

USB Ports. The devices were participating.  But my memory card got broken after inserting it in right side usb port. The usb ports were tight and narrow, so be extra careful when inserting and pulling off your jacks. I like the tightness though.

The Keyboard is soft and flat. However, for people who are used to desktop keyboard (like me), might feel the discrepancy. There is no indication if you’re using Caps lock, unless you’re typing you’re password online. Other than that, it is fantastic. It is like embossed, so its kinda new and fun to me. Sometimes i use my Logitech Cordless keyboard if i need to distant myself from radiation. 

Battery life. So if you’re wondering if Samsung had short comings in terms of battery, you can stop the wanders. The battery is long enough for a notebook. You will be working in full 8hours if you will full charge your gadget before using it. However, my notebook works in 6hours full charge. I dunno if it is the same with some Samsung N150 users, but technically, the real time battery life is 5hours and it is 

absolutely fine.

Matte Screen. Yes, you read it right, the screen is matte. Meaning, you cannot trace any finger prints even if you’re working. And also, there is absolutely no light reflections. Some laptop has matte screen yet the light under roof is reflective and it sucks especially if you’re doing creative designs or plain working.

10.1 inch screen, high definition pixels, what else could you ask for? If you want gadgets for your desktop, it is available, if you want to conserve the battery, there is power saver settings, if you want a high performance level of viewing, have it change in the settings, everything is under in one notebook-laptop. Why did i say that? Because it is actually more of a laptop, not just a notebook. The only difference i guess is the size of the screen.

Desktop wallpaper is a stock unless you want to change it, you will have to through a process. Install applications here and there. I already did, but it ruined the administrator and the user guests programs and applications use. The loading time of windows went hundred years. My programs had to be run in as administrator, take note, every program you’re going to use. The desktop folder unmatched the wallpaper folder i’ll be using.

In short, just leave your desktop wallpaper that way. The tutorial is professionally applied, and technical issues will be encountered just for changing the desktop wallpaper. Again, leave it that way, unless you’re aware of what you’re doing. 




The Performance. 
Since computers is not new to me, i already deleted and updated the softwares according to my knowledge of PC maintenance. However, Windows 7 has its down fall and it is not well advertised to some Gamers (high definition games included) and Technology People. Technology people meaning people working in field and world of Information Technology, to speak of not just by working in Hardware but most of all Softwares. 


I don't know, maybe its just me. But i would rather have my Windows XP if i could have a choice. So anyway, the loading time is working fine though its taking a min delay. What i like about this Windows 7, its you're in no left behind default programs. The beginners will way deliver reports and presentation well enough, especially for students.

I do not necessarily take down reviews for gadgets i use or used. Maybe because i don't feel the need of doing so, not because i am not getting paid to but i feel no sense in creating one. But today, i certainly changed my mind. 

I am not a fan of wireless. Wireless hubs and routers, wireless internet connections (not Wi-Fi) but "broadband", wireless windows and computer gadgets, wireless peripheral and etcetera. I do not patronize these gadgets simply because they are not 100% accurate. Seriously. Right? It is not that i am not a pro-technology but, these wireless concepts doesn't help you at all. Wireless hubs and routers do not 100% intertwine the flow of LAN, Wireless broadband are honestly crap specially if you are living in Philippines. 

Today, i changed my mind. Why? a gadget changed my mind.

Logitech Deluxe 660 Cordless Desktop did. I am convinced to use this because its hassle free. I work most of the time facing the desktop and laptop.the tangled cords is an addition to stress, thus, it helps to look neat in your work area. It functions well, and i can work 10 inches away from the device. I appreciate the function keys for media and web applications, its like 3-in-one keyboard. the mouse is like a no tool in the hand, so light you could almost feel nothing but fingers tapping your laptop mouse pad. 

The best thing about Logitech Deluxe 660 Cordless Desktop aside from describe review above, its cheap!

Months ago, i was planning to download ARES Galaxy to download MP3 songs and movies via its torrent. Little did i know, it was the safest software we had years ago. Unlike Kaaza and Limewire, in case you don't know, it is the most virus P2P Shared files ever! I am not saying it is the software itself, but when you download files, songs, movies from these softwares, VIRUSES are everywhere. We've been using Ares for more than 3years now and i can say it is safe from malwares, hoax and other intended viruses to harm your computer and files... but not until yesterday.

Anyway, so i materialized my plan last night. First, i searched Ares via FileHippo, i found one. But since i wanted the latest, i seek in Google. I am aware of "scam" and the adware programs installed in the software that is why i'm too conscious where to download the program. Then i found OFFICIALARES, the reviews are promising. Promotion is wittily advertised, and because it dressed my eyes to a good impression. Ah this site is well-managed.

I was convinced to download Ares. I installed the program. And here is what my Comodo Anti-virus found. (click here to read my review about comodo)

Fortunately, it has been traced before it infect my PC. Thanks to my Comodo Anti-Virus. 

Now i learned my lesson. I will just buy original CDs in music stores.Thank God my Anti-Virus works excellent and well updated. Plus, i now trust FileHippo.

Today, mom decided to take us out, my younger brother and I, on a treat. Dad texted mom, "i want my son to be very happy!" took me and bro a laugh. Shopping is present of course, but this time, i asked nothing but for my brother. I had it all when i was still studying and I believe its time to give my brother an extravagant college life. Our eldest brother is spoiling him much, i feel no envy or insecurity in my part if you're thinking that a lot. haha. ENVY is not present in my vocabulary because my parents raised us well.

While having dinner at Kenny Rogers, I never knew that my mom loves vegetable salad a lot.OK, so maybe because i am too busy eating and having delights with my cravings when we're out (tsk tsk bad girl). I told her, "now i know why every time we are out, you insist to have snack at Wendy's (all the time), it's the salad!" and she smiled. haha I knew it.

Anyway, so I received a Yahoo Message through my cellphone from my eldest brother last night. he has a present for Ross (our younger brother), i didn't know what it was.. not until today.

Tired of Updating your Anti-Virus Software? Is it causing you too much lag on your computer whenever you update your software for just one infected file? Well, stop right there! The long journey for surviving viruses can be put into at ease manner without hitting your hardware. It works ONLINE!

Who doesn't know about Virustotal?, To give an idea, it is a free online virus and malware scan that works every detail of your file. Though they disclaim  they are not 100% accurate, the list of information from different Anti-Viruses Softwares who  found the hoax is detailed if the virus has been verified or confirmed from your uploaded file. 

A lot of us are fond of updating our desktop, softwares, icons, freebies that are soak around different websites without taking into consideration of the word "RISK". Some do updates to modify their version of softwares installed or what are they been using. 

So before extracting your new zipped downloaded file, you might as well have it check first before enjoying your new found freebie from your favorite site. 

How does virus total work?, just simply UPLOAD your downloaded file and click send file. wait for a few minutes and it will be scanned. It will also list down the different anti-virus that found the VIRUS OR MALWARE installed in the file. 

It may be not the best that works with viruses, but a prevention is better than having an infected file around your PC.

THIS is a 2010 year entry.

A couple of years ago, when i was active in blog reading and exchange links with my fellow bloggers, a lot of them use WORDPRESS and i find it envious because of the PAGES page they have. Blogger was then simple but freely customized in themes.

in WORDPRESS.COM,
Changing the theme into a CUSTOMIZED theme or changing the CSS from the default themes of wordpress will Cost you. When posting, though blogging is free, when you reached your limit for their allowable free storage, there is an option whether you will have a PAID blog or not to sustain the service and have no option but leave your blog, which is unfair. CSS, Javascript are not allowed either if you want to customize your menus. It is a pain in the ass but technically, their blog dashboard is exceptional. Everything is one click away and you will not have to worry about the malwares and hoax.

in WORDPRESS.ORG
You can have the customized theme but you have to have the host for your flavorful theme. Although there are a lot of free hostings, you can never tell how will it cause you trouble from lacking and being lock of your blogsite. You will have to push to look for a paid host. 

in BLOGGER
I just found out that Pages is now open for blogger users. Click here for the tutorial or simply go to LAYOUT section in settings and  customize your blog with CSS, HTML, Javascript. Everything is in your hand, you just lay your fingers and give it a freehand to get the best of themes install for you. Fortunately, Blogger has gone bigger and blogger friendly.

Last week, my brother told me that his laptop

ACER Aspire 5738G

got infected of Obama video link virus spreading through Facebook. He said, he will reformat his notebook because of outnumbered viruses... I stopped him. Of course he knows best and he knows what he should do. But i was flaunting off my bestfriend softwares, i assured my brother to follow my advice and there is a no need for his planned action anymore. From what my brother used to know about me was, i am his human VIRUS. hahaha, when we used to be together i am fond of downloading a lot of files in our desktop PC that are for my personal intentions and use it productively...  =)) (greedy! ahaha). inevitably, our pc will be warned by unknown malwares and hoax coming from my files, then he would just scratch his head off and say, "nu ba yang mga dinadownload mo kase".



DISCLAIMER: these are all fact based and not just my opinion. plus, i am not being paid for sharing this thoughts. this is a personal blog. period.

1. Comodo AntiVirus version 4 / Comodo Internet Security 4.0 / Comodo Anti-Malware a.k.a COMODO Internet Security 4 - what makes this software different from other antivirus programs?, take it from my experience, even the NEWEST VIRUS, MALWARES and Rootkits that is hard to detect can be DELETED by this amazing, yes, Amazing program/s. I tried every antivirus that is known in the market and none of them aside (well.. at least) from McAfee did a very well job in cleaning our pc from hoax, rootkits, malwares and complete viruses/trojans/worms. Kaspersky, Avast, and even the gamer's antivirus "AVG" is one wiped-out by Comodo Internet Security. No exaggeration, i am telling the truth.

Comodo Internet Security detects websites that are infected with malwares, virus and rootkits that may harm our computers. I suggest discontinue if warned.

2. Ccleaner - 100% sure am i, we are all fond of browsing around our favorite browsers like the famous Mozilla Firefox, IE 8, Google Chrome, who doesn't know about Apple's Safari 4? and Opera 10 mobile/web browser. (i will do a review off all these sometime this month), Hence after using it, we just let it left alone and do our deepest sleeps after using our computers. You should run Ccleaner after browsing the web to eliminate unwanted downloaded files, cookies that (not all time but mostly) contributes lag or delay to our PC's performance.

3. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware - click the title for more information about the software. although you have already the Comodo Software, secondary or a backup programs are advisable must haves in your desktop. Not just for the security but to keep you/us updated of all malwares available, uploaded by cyber trash people who knows nothing but to ruin and hack our accounts, whatever form it may be.

4. Microsoft Security Essentials - last but not the least, the Microsoft Essentials. Click the title to know further about the program. You need to have a licensed Windows/OS to be able to use this. Or if pirated no harm in trying if this will work for your computer. This is one way best to have after Malwarebytes, because other malicious programs are left undetected in previous program, and sometimes hiding among our files specially if you do not regularly update your programs.


I am no expert to speak about the programs, but knowing and understanding the information technology, hardware and software i've been exposed at, is a key for me to share this information to you. I may not be the best to talk and pin out the characteristics of these softwares, i deeply apologize for the ambiguity, but through my experience using these programs.

i no longer download files at Download.com because of MULTIPLE virus that is being detected by Comodo. i am not saying do not visit the site, but thats my experience.
